Well, I was going to write you guys an excellent post today, but then I threw a superbowl party instead (but didn't watch the superbowl), and read the Similitudes of Enoch (which I don't suggest for light reading), and helped Jacob with his science project (which is an awesome collection of seashells sorted by color with accompanying graphs and charts, BTW, and I'm way more excited about it than he is!).

So instead of a post by me, here is a link to one of my favorite things I've run across on the internets lately. The speaker is the Rev. S. M. Lockridge who, according to Wikipedia, was a preacher who started out in Texas and ended up in San Diego during the 50's, 60's and onwards. I do not know the original creator of the video. This is just one of those things I keep coming back to when I need some time to stop, take a breath, and remember just who it is that I follow and worship. Take some time today and enjoy these words and this video.

Here it is on YouTube. Give it a few seconds to start up when you get there.

Does this mean even football doesn't fraction us when we share a king?

OOOH! I love this! Thanks, Terri! "You can't get Him out of your head! You can't get him off of your mind..."

Although...I did love the last quarter of the Superbowl. Go Steelers! :o)
