At times on PrimeTimeJesus, a post from a colleague will deserve and generate a response from a team member. Such is the case with Robert Webb's note of James Charlesworth's report on the Symposium held in Jerusalem that included consideration of the Talpiyot tomb.
If anyone wants a sense of what that symposium really said and discussed, this summary is an excellent presentation of the meeting and its aftermath. I think you will also see that the earlier reporting we did as the story was breaking did a good job of sorting out what was going on at the time. This is part of what we hope to do on this site.
One of the ways you can help us is to indicate in comments what you'd like for us to discuss or raise follow up questions to a post. This is quite all right to do. Our only request is that you do so respectfully and be careful not to turn the site into a question a day site for your own curiosity. So please feel free to comment–and to Bob, well done for pointing out a helpful update on a issue we have been watching.
