Palm Bible+ is so close to what you are looking for its not even funny. And at the same time, its missing a lot of things that would make it (or any mobile Bible software program) an easy and usable choice for all users.
Until all Bible software makers agree to a common format for the content, nothing will change. And considering the money to be made with licensing, it would seem that locking users into a specific format for content, let alone things like notes and maps, would also not change. I tend to remain optimistic that users will get to the point of wanting more, and then making enough of a voice to change things. But that might take a while considering how fast the church has moved towards using websites for just simple advertising ;)
If I could sit with a few developers and marketers, there would be a solution to be had that would make everyone happy. But until that prayer comes, I'll jus take note of the platforms that I have to speak on this issue as you have. Thanks for addressing this aspect of understanding and effectively using technology to grow in God's graces.
Side comment: if you could have made your items into a bulleted list, i might read a bit better. Considering the format of your site, having a long paragraph that lists such detailed information makes for some difficult reading (spacing, font-color, etc. all contribute to this).
