I'm just a little confused at your response to the article. How can you say that when the Democrats want to legalize same sex marriages it's the only right thing to do? The bible clearly states God's stand on this - it's an abomination to Him. I believe God loves them, as He loves all sinners, including myself, but He doesn't love their sin. To pass laws that support the sin, any sin, not just homosexuality, is totally against the law of God. About abortion - again, we MUST talk about these things! Our society is in such moral decay that as Christians we have to preach the gospel, have to reach out to people that are lost, and MUST talk about the laws that are getting passed that are contrary to God's will! Abortion should be an issue when choosing a political leader. When we vote for someone that is going to be able to set rules and regulations about things, it's important that what they believe is in line with God. If Obama were actually desiring God's leadership, then he wouldn't be pro-choice nor be an advocate of homosexual marriages. I'm not trying to be rude here, but the statement that you made that you voted for issues that would better you -I don't get that. As Christians we're supposed to put others first, but especially put first the Kingdom of God, and God's wishes for ourselves and our country. I'm sure glad when Jesus Christ was on the cross he didn't do what would better Him, but did what would better me, and you and everyone!
