To be clear, I never made any affirmation that I was a supporter of McCain or the Republicans. I am also not making any statements about who got our country into our current financial mess...I think there is plenty of blame to go around on both sides of the aisle.
The point of my post today was to raise the larger question of God's sovereign will in the midst of mankind making historic decisions with globally significant implications. Whether it is for us today the election of the most powerful leader in the world or when it was the Israelites making decisions about chosing their kings, the core issue remains the same...who is in control really?.
We need God's protection and mercy as we make big decisions...and this was a very big and historic decision last night no doubt.
