In a few days we will turn the clocks back and autumn will officially be here and with it comes the freshness of the brisk air and cooler temperatures and fall colors. No longer are we facing days upon days of hundred degrees. No, today it is in the 50's and we have turned the heat on. The wonders of God's creation are breathing easier and joyfully basking in this new season. Not only has the physical season begun to re-invigorate me physically; I have been refreshed and invigorated spiritually in my quiet times.

The economic crisis is not a crisis for God or Christians but an opportunity for us to see:
Opportunity in Crisis
Christ was always finding opportunity in crisis.
And, in John 16:33, Christ encouraged His disciples to do the same: “In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world.”
And so it is with our latest tribulation – the global economic crisis. Though the pain and travail of this crisis are real, it is not a crisis that cannot be overcome by His disciples.

Farewell Dear Friends!
My last day at Bible.org is fast upon me and I definitely didn't want to leave without saying "goodbye Dear Friends". Over the past 5+ years I have served as Bible.org's Executive DIrector and it has truly been one of the highlights of my life and ministry. The Lord has called me on to a new journey of His choosing and I trust him completely.
David Austin is the Executive Director of the global Internet ministry bible.org. He is passionate about those who don't know Jesus Christ as savior and volunteering to make a difference.
