A quick note on content availability:
The internet has exploded recently with the availability of content. You can now watch an amazing selection of television and movies within a web browser. Case in point: I was not able to watch Bill Moyer's recent interview with Jeremiah Wright on PBS when it was originally broadcast. Fortunately the entire broadcast is available at www.pbs.org. (Check it out at http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/04252008/watch.html.)
Two points:
One thing that a professor must always do is research. You have to stay current in your field in order to make a worthy contribution. This blog will occasionally delve into various aspects of my research that I think might be of interest to bible.org readers.
Dr. Michael Burer is Assistant Professor of New Testament Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. He is the assistant project director for the NET Bible and has contributed various studies to the bible.org site. His first book - A New Reader's Lexicon of the Greek New Testament, co-authored with Jeff Miller - was published Fall of 2008.
