I do not often promote from the blog site, but today I make an exception.
Deeper Connections is a Bible Study DVD about key events and themes in Jesus' life. Matt Williams of Biola/Talbot put the series together. Three series include the Life of Jesus, the Forgiveness of Jesus and the Last Days of Jesus. Williams collected an array of evangelical scholars to participate. Each event is handled by a scholar who probes both the meaning of the text and its application in distinct segments. Unfortunately the Zondervan website does not name the contributors to each series, but rest assured they are names many know. The format is inviting and a study guide allows the material to work for home schooling, a Sunday School class or home Bible study. I had the honor of participating and was well pleased with the result. My hope is if you are looking for some material on Jesus that you will check this series out.
