In Jordan May 18

I am having a wonderful time teaching 17 students at the Jordan Theological Seminary in Amman. The people here are so nice. The students are eager to study and learn. It has been interesting teaching Luke in this context. I attended church here with translation. It was great to hear the completely different music that was Arab in style. My time here has been completely focused on teaching and writing. I have just finished a manuscript on the gospel and getting it clear. It will be a kind of biblical theology of the gospel by theme. I have other things to say about this visit, but they are best told once the trip is completed. Do pray for the church here. Believers are only 2% of the popuation in Jordan. It can be hard to be such a small minority.

Dr. Bock,

I'm glad to hear the trip is going well! Looking forward to the new book. It's much needed. See you some time after you return from many travels. : ) I will pray for the church in Jordan.

Mike

God bless
