Prof. Bock,
I had another question. My professor referred to the Epic of Gilgamesh and stated that the Epic of Gilgamesh was the oldest story ever written. He then talked about how the hero of the Epic of Gilgamesh was a being or person who was 2/3 god and 1/3 man(the supposed similarity with Jesus being fully man and fully God). I've also heard that in the Epic of Gilgamesh there is also a flood story. My question is how do I deal with the similarities of the hero and the flood in EOG and our bible? How do I answer these objections? Thanks.
