Jesusanity reduces Christianity to something it is not. So the loss is what is valuable and unique about the new life Chrsitian faith brings. Those who reduce Christianty to an ethic actually miss the spiritual dimension of the faith that makes it efflective. So an empahsis on the new life of spiritual enablement is lost or, at least, minimized.
