I have just read the articles in question of heresies I have only one question. Why? Why is all this wonderful brain power used to discuss an issue long dead? How does it advance the Kingdom of God in our land? The world either ridicules Christ's church or ignores us. Our reputation is undermined by a Media that gets its cues from us. We are are divided, become arbitraters of public morality, quarrel, compete for members, and our neighbors have no idea of what the euaggelion is. Negative comment? Maybe, but I'm a retired pastor and missionary praying for the unity of Christ. On line I see disputations of the most esoteric nature and it makes me feel sad, and a little hopeless for Christ's kingdom, not in the world, but in our western world which possesses 90 per cent of educated clergy, yet is the only area of the globe where Christianity is not growing.
