Remember that before we even get here we have to accept that Jesus was married (for which there is no evidence), that he had children (for which there is no evidence, not even from fringe Christian groups that liked to appeal to other figures who knew Jesus but are not tied to Biblical texts). Surely if Jesus had a son and a line, people would have made much of his descendants and traces of it would show up among those who knew about his family.
